A sewage backup isn't a job for a mop and bucket. Our Sewage Cleanup crews arrive in full PPE, classify the contamination, and follow IICRC S500 blackwater protocols from the first step.

Containment goes up before extraction starts, because the goal on a contamination job isn't just removing the water, it's making sure the contamination doesn't spread to rooms that were never affected.
None of this is unique to a big loss either — the same standard applies whether it's a single-room sewage cleanup call or a larger one.
We built this list around what typically goes wrong when sewage cleanup gets handled by a generalist rather than a specialist.
None of these standards are unique to us in theory, but they're worth confirming before you let anyone start sewage cleanup work on your property.
S500 protocol governs PPE, containment, and disposal on every Category 3 call we handle.
Technicians suit up in full protective gear before entering a contaminated area.
Disposal documentation is provided as part of the job record.
We treat contamination calls with urgency, since delay increases exposure risk.
We don't treat sewage cleanup as a single generic task — each part of the process below gets its own specific approach.
Water gets classified as Category 3 blackwater on arrival, which sets the entire response protocol.
We extract with full PPE and controlled disposal of extracted contaminated water.
Porous materials can't be fully sanitized after blackwater contact, which is a safety call, not a cost-cutting one.
Every surface that had contact with contaminated water gets disinfected with hospital-grade antimicrobial treatment.
We address the contamination causing the odor rather than just deploying an air freshener.
We verify the space meets a safe standard before calling the job complete.
This is the same sequence every sewage cleanup job follows, regardless of size.
You call +1-844-578-1604 and a live dispatcher takes the details of your Sewage Cleanup need, not a voicemail system.
Crews staged locally get to your address quickly, equipment already loaded for Sewage Cleanup work.
A technician assesses the scope on-site and provides a written flat-rate quote before any work begins.
We stand behind the result with a documented sign-off, not just a verbal assurance.
"They didn't rush the disinfection step even though it clearly slowed the job down."
